ASID Green Panel At WestWeek 08 This year at Westweek, ASID/LA’s Third Annual Green Gallery will showcase sustainable design, furniture, methods, and building products. Resource materials will be available from a variety of industry leaders in environmental consciousness. An array of materials, techniques and ideas will also be on display with representatives on hand to answer green inquiries.

On Wednesday, March 26 at Noon ASID/LA will present “The Greening of LA Design,” a panel discussion moderat-ed by Lori Dennis, ASID, LEED AP on ways to make your projects green. The panel will consist of four speakers. (Mary Cordaro of H3 Environmental, Leslie Hoffman, Executive Director of Earth Pledge and Chandra Krout of Build It Green have confirmed.( Each guest will present a ten minute introduction on their organization/product/experience and the remainder of the hour will be open to Q&A. Architects and designers who attend will be able to earn continuing education units. And everyone will become versed in sustainable building methods and products including: grey water systems, solar panels, denim insulation and what’s new in green products.
